Overview
Just as you’d expect from the title, the Australian Football League Official Fixture is a guide to all the fixtures for the upcoming AFL season. This book, though, covers the fixtures in every detail you can possibly imagine. There’s a list of each club’s fixtures and highlights for the year ahead; there’s a list of each round’s fixtures with a detailed explanation for the round; there are fixtures by venue, fixtures by network and even fixtures by timeslot; and there’s every NAB Cup fixture. Michael Lovett
Michael Lovett is one of the country’s most senior football writers. He started at the Ballarat Courier in 1974 and has reported major sport, specialising in football and cricket, for The Sporting Globe and The Herald. He was the editor of Basketball Week and Inside Football, before becoming editor of the AFL Record in 1997. Lovett is currently the production editor at The Slattery Media Group and became a life member of the Australian Football Media Association in 2008.
