Patinack Farm Stallion Brochure

Client

Patinack Farm Stallion brochure

Design requirement

Brochure design communicating the values of Patinack farm, and its all-new stallion roster.

The audience

Broodmare owners seeking quality stallions suitable for their mares in the 2008 breeding season.

The challenge

To develop a communication set piece, which stood alone from those of prominent Stud Farms while announcing a strong, credible entry into a tough marketplace. The brief required a fresh design to a Stallion brochure, while included enough strength to be extended across various marketing means including print and web advertising and DVD production. All parts of the creative process had to be fulfilled within a minimal turn around time.

Our approach

The extensive experience within, and knowledge of the racing industry of Business Development Manager – Racing, Tanya Fullarton and editorial team member, Danny Power were highly utilised within this project.

The design of the stallion brochure was based on the inclusion of all the information a potential breeder would require to make an informed decision on the placement of valuable breeding stock. The information was placed around emotional successful imagery. A custom size was selected, as well as a striking image carried from the front cover of the finished brochure to the back cover. Three different paper stocks were used, one of which acted as a title page segmenting the brochure, each section catering to one of the four Stallions. Uncoated stocks coupled with a matt laminate were selected to carry through an earthy feel.

The result

A stallion brochure with a unique look and feel which effectively conveyed Patinack’s key principles. Our expertise within the racing industry allowed us to work with Patinack Farm and provide advice regarding branding and essential information, as well as most effective images and layout for the brochure.
