Summer is well and truly here, and as the climate heats up for another season of incapacitating weather, any sun-induced lethargy is typically offset by a stellar array of festivals to see you through the hottest months of the year.
This year, The Slattery Media Group had the good fortune of teaming up with The Falls Festival – the environmentally-focused music festival held over New Years Eve in Lorne (Vic) and Marion Bay (Tas) – to publish their festival programme for both events.
With a line-up of over 60 various acts, and a range of arts-based attractions to match, each individualised guide had the potential to be a nightmare. However, after some strategic planning and the implementation of a well-oiled process, the guides were produced without a hitch, on time and on high-quality, fully recycled stock to sit with the festival's eco-friendly ethos. It's projects like these that make my role here as a designer feel more like a hobby than a job.
